minor things that make you fume

When you're having an extremely pleasant day at work when, all of a sudden, you have the urge to leg it to the toilet to explosively redecorate the inside of the bog. Might have been the cordon bleu I had at lunch, but it was a nice place we went to and has always been good quality food. Hmm.

'kin people just accepting things on the internet as fact. Someone on Facebook posted a story from a "news" site that had no sources, no details, just a supposed message from an ambulance driver to a friend that a child died because the Trump protesters were blocking the roads to the hospital. People then responded "oh it's sickening these supposed compassionate lefties". Not one person questions it. It was a recycled narrative from the Black Lives Matters protests in July when an equally fake story appeared.

Someone on mine posted a thing saying that 2 handfuls of cashew nuts is the therapeutic equivalent of a prescription dose of Prozac! Ha ha *heads down to Tesco for his fix!

It's something of a laughing matter at the moment, but this fake news business is going to come to a head soon, I guarantee it. Someone will get lynched in the back of a fake story, or something like that.

Drivers who straddle two lanes.

It looks like they're edging over without indicating, so I back off, then they move back into their lane.
I get ready to go past them and then they start edging over again.

Does my head in.

Facebook herd mentality is the worst, people jump on and then can't be seen to disagree so pile it on thicker, despite as you say knowing none of the facts, having no expertise in the area they're commenting on or any sense of perspective.

One I saw recently was for a young lad who needed an experimental drug which cost £500,000, which, at absolute best, would extend his life by a year. The NHS didn't fund this where I live. I get that it's an emotive issue when it's a young lad, but they jumped on the govt like a pack of animals calling them all the names imaginable, when in reality the service is on its knees and that £500,000 could employ 2 new nurses for a decade, and think of the lives they could save. They wilted quickly and now it's covered under the NHS.

People telling other supporters to in no uncertain terms, sit down and shut up, at a game when you try to get behind the team. Also selfi sticks at an international friendly. And children under age of about 12 who run round the stand, constantly block your view, need 4 toilet runs, and spend the game asking where is ronaldo!! Keep them at home!!
