minor things that make you fume

and i didn't want the pass back, just the picture. The pass is no good to me now i have the week ticket but the picture would have let me go in this week and renew it as soon as i got the form to.

No court in the land would accept that as mitigating circumstances for fare dodging.

Fare dodging means that others have to pick up the tab for your free ride.

Not really fare dodging if i then had a full ticket.

Be more of an issue if i never bought a ticket let alone a weekly one! Had a genuine reason as well, using it for a year so easy to not notice it ran out, combined with the fact i had to pass a bus driver and he accepted it.

Its a slippery slope your on. One minute your fare dodging, the next your mugging some old dear for her pension.

1. You only had a full ticket because you'd been rumbled by the bus fuzz. If I were them, I'd have slammed you for the penalty fare, right there and then.

2. As if the driver has time to root out fare dodgers on top of driving the bus. You knew it had expired so I doubt you lingered and let him examine the date.

And after all this, you grumble about a photo.

Makes you wonder if the future Mrs Ash knows that she's marrying a common thief, or is it a potential " Bonny and Clyde " scenario, where the two of them work in tandem whilst out thieving ?

I think Ash's nice guy persona is all an act to fool the authorities. I bet he's got his fingers in many an illicit pie. guns, prostitutes, drugs, you name it, Ash will get his cut.

Bus pass ran out last week. Managed to keep using it because this year getting it renewwed through work has been a massive headache and been waiting a week without anything back so far. Previous years, had it renewed within a couple of days.

Anyway, get the bus this morning, lets me on with it. Then for the first time in years ticket inspectors get on the bus. Not a problem, just bought a weekly pass there and then as i planned to anyway, then he wouldn't give me the photo off the bus pass back. In his words, need to confirm it is me, like they have a database of us all on it. So now i have to get my picture re done before i can get said buss pass, which is a pain in the arse because spending out for the ticket means i am short of money!

Couldn't really put up an argument with him on his flawed logic because it was a packed bus. Absolute tit, all i wanted was the picture off it.

How on earth do you survive a full day on this planet? Ticket inspector should have ripped the emergency door open and flung you into oncoming traffic.
