True story: My first work place was a 15 minute drive, 20 minute cycle, 2 1/2 miles or 40 minute walk from home.

I detest commuting so much, first I considered putting a bunk up at work. In the end, I moved house to literally 5 minutes walk, from door to door. It was bliss, and I saved a fortune.

Then 2 years later I got a new job 5 minutes walk away from where I used to live!

haha i did have that option once, but my hope is to move closer to home in a couple of years time.

I went for a job which would have guaranteed it but sadly didn't even get a rejection never mind a sorry from them and it hasn't come up since.

but that is the dream, if i can get a job where i want to, be at most 20 minute walk to work ,which id be made up with.

I don't own a bike, and probably haven't ridden one since i was a kid. So might not be a good idea, plus the only place to stick it during the day tends to get thieves with bolt cutters. I'm not even exaggerating here, we got a memo about it a few weeks ago about bike thieves and what types of locks we should use.

that is a possibility as well aye.

Slight problem if the bus is stuck past the lights so i spend 20 minutes waiting for the bus i otherwise would have been on haha

I don't think any buses turn onto prescot road, although if there is one then i may consider doing that

I know mate, I feel proper arl arsed about it though cuz I went and got some of my mates to join last season and a few want to keep it up but it has just been massive headaches trying to sort it out without leaving anyone on their own.
