Not hearing back from an interview!

Increasingly becoming the norm across a lot of industries. Reprehensible behaviour.... hardly unexpected though, considering the type of person who normally works in HR.

Job I successfully applied for just before Christmas still hasn't started, due to their HR department taking five weeks to check two references. The best bit so far being an email from HR to me asking me to chase the responses. I contact both referees: one has already returned the reference, the other was never contacted to provide one. Outstanding.

Meant to alert the emergency services to a child/baby in the car, in the event of an accident.

My missus works for the NHS and it seems to be the norm there, plain bad manners if nothing else.

I thought my interview went really well and they seemed interested.

I took half a days holiday for it, I've already got a job, but I find it irritating they can't even send an email.

The process usually goes something like this :

She has the interview.

Hears nothing by the alleged date of confirmation.

Contacts relevant HR dept, who then promise to get back and never do.

Find out via word of mouth, that someone in the same dept has got it.

( in other words the whole thing was a sham )

Poop splashback. Having a poop right now, and even though ive put paper in the water to prevent splashback I still get splashback because the paper sinks..so if I'm not careful with making sure there's always paper on top of the water then I get toilet water up my bum, which isn't very nice.
