Minor things that make you happy

Happened this morning,
Trouble with brakes so went to kwik fir,I know, hang on
Fella says they're knackered and gave us a price
I says you fitted them last time so it's free now, his face a picture, kin hate Kwik fit
I had that once, too. Bearings went within a year so got them replaced for free - then he shows me a massive chunk taken out of the tyre wall which cost me a ton to replace. Win some lose some I guess.

Boss that, horrible lying pricks in that kwik fit. Funny how when I take my work van in (lease) they do the bare minimum, but when you take your own motor they make out like it was lucky to have got there in one piece. Cowboys.

Lass I used to work with, her fella was a proper petrolhead. She said he'd always take the car to the garage in his dirtiest, oil-smeared trackie bottoms and t-shirt, cos they'd assume he knows his stuff. If you go in office attire they stiff you cos a) you look like you can afford it and b) you don't look like you'd have a clue anyway.

I've put on almost a stone since Christmas. Nearly 14 stone now. Is right.

However, as I'm 6'1", according to BMI I am now overweight.
If you've put on a stone since Christmas and you aren't a professional bodybuilder, some of what you've put on is fat. Chances are you are over-estimating your calorific need: it's quite common in crossfit. Add some proper weightlifting into your program or just eat a bit less x

PS ignore BMI. It's 20 years out of date and inaccurate for something like 70% of society.

Why are you trying to body shame me? I'm happy with the way I look, as well as a hell of a lot of people who I catch checking me out. What's not to love?

And don't ever accuse me of doing cross fit again.
