My gym has been extended and they've doubled the already very good free weights section and now have a total of 25 adjustable benches. Made my day after a terrible day in work

Was back home this weekend for a family bash, discovered the Pilot Boat pub whilst out for a walk,decent boozer.

Yes Les,went for a walk along the Mersey prom and found it, I knew it was there somewhere but had never been in it, was pleasently surprised, they keep a good pint and welcomed the Grandkids.

Yeah i live round here and i like it, one of my favourites. Perfect for when you're walking round those ways.

The Magazine next door to it is decent too, both have great beer gardens.

Left the Wirral 36 years ago so like to explore a bit when I'm back home, left when I was young so didn't manage to get round all the pubs then, I'm trying to make up for it now though.

I don't blame you, there's so many pubs and so many good places to walk. That and the views across the Mersey are probably the only advantages of being a Wool!
