A major thing that makes me happy: Due to a number of things, this weekend will be the first time I've been down for a game this season, I can not tell you guy's how much I am looking forward to it, The sights the sounds, the smell of the hotdogs,a pint with the lads,the predictions before the game, the post mortem after.

Living away and not getting to as many games as I would like to coupled with getting older definately heightens your anticipation and enjoyment of a weekend back at home focused on the game: Bring it on.

After leaving work tonight there was a busker in Church Street singing I read the news today, Oh boy. Playing his guitar he was pitch perfect, not an easy song to do. After feeling tired and depressed he sent shivers down my spine. Don't often give money to buskers but he deserved it. As an aide memoire :

Played the long game beautifully today...

My best mate from school posted a youtube vid of Benteke scoring against us on Facebook in October saying "Boy did well putting them back in their box for another season. Even some booing at the end and they say Liverpool fans have a sense of entitlement"
I didn't bite but I made a mental note.

Grandson winning the MOTM award for his under-8 side yesterday . In goal 2nd half , saved 4 certain goals , flying around like a loon . Everton with their mad game , and Super Niasse destroying the rs .
