Growing up.. my bedroom overlooked the train station... we lived up on a hillside. The train station and port are one and the same so back then it was busy 24 hours a day. On a daily basis you never took notice of the sounds. . But there was no more comforting sound in the early hours of the morning of the trains shuttling in and our the station. Weirdly relaxing.
