Minor things that make you happy

I bought a bird box, with a camera inside, from Aldi a few years back.
Only cost about 30 quid or so and took an hour to set up.
Had Great Tits ( no sniggering please) nesting in it now for the past few summers. Turned it on last night and there's one roosting in there, ready to make a nest and lay in the spring.

Here's last years brood. Sorry about the crap quality...and being a nerd.

Update.
Only 3 eggs this year. Another randy male appeared and there's been aggro. They'd finished the nest then moved in to another on the other side of the garden.
Popped in to Aintree for half an hour this afternoon, got back, and they've hatched. I'm so proud.

Pics to follow..

Or not, if nobody can be arsed like.

We get family of Blue Tits in ours every year.

You can`t really see what`s going on, as it`s out of the way, but when the chicks hatch, the tweeting noise drives the dog mad.

She knows there`s something alive in the box, but doesn`t know what it is and it winds her up no end lol

Get a camera box mate. It's better than the crap on the tele as well.

When you've got boss biscuits for your cup of tea (Fox's Butter Crinkles). I spent a good 6 hours yesterday just thinking about having these biscuits with my tea when I got in. Didn't disappoint.

spent about 5 hours going through every page on this thread as I hadn't before, saw this and thought "what are these amazing sounding biscuits I have never heard off"

went and bought some, oh my.......life changing!!!!!

I made a box and put it up 3 years ago. Got blue tits nesting in it for the first time this year. I'm assuming the eggs have now hatched as both birds are in and out every minute or so with caterpillars.
Kicking myself because I have got a nest cam but forgot to set it up. The box is on the wall of the house and I have a great view from the conservatory though. Can't wait for them to fledge.
