Minor things that make you happy

I made a box and put it up 3 years ago. Got blue tits nesting in it for the first time this year. I'm assuming the eggs have now hatched as both birds are in and out every minute or so with caterpillars.
Kicking myself because I have got a nest cam but forgot to set it up. The box is on the wall of the house and I have a great view from the conservatory though. Can't wait for them to fledge.

If you`ve got a cat or dog, watch them when the chicks fledge, as they`re totally stupid, hop around in broad daylight and make tasty snacks

The dog is scared of it's own shadow mate lol I'm more concerned about the magpies and jays etc. . . oh, and my pond.

We have white rendering on the front and back of our house. Front needed doing, back not too bad. Guy came to do front, put four coats on, good job. He had some paint left and offered to do the back for free!

This is just what I'm looking for, got a rat that comes into the garden, and after blocking all it's ways in I hadn't seen it for a while until the other day, seen it in the garden went out to chase it and it disappeared behind a bush and I thought it had found a new way out so went back inside, then I seen the little fecker climb up the clematis plant along the top of the fence and into the tree over the back, clever bleeder.
