I've never been to a petrol station and not been able to do this. Get close to the pump, bit further forward than normal and go across the back of the car.

A 'murder investigation' has been opened I see..
Complete and utter waste of time.. and money. The guy insisted on trespassing on the land of a tribe who clearly have no interest in integrating with modern civilisation and he paid the price. Open and shut.
However, because his intentions were 'good' and his Christian family back in the US are upset, obviously someone else needs to be held responsible for his death!
