Got an allotment a couple of weeks ago and have had a couple of days to off work so had the opportunity to really get stuck in. Lots of hard work getting it straight but it's a really peaceful way of getting away from everything. Just seeing it come together slowly, bit by bit is really satisfying.

Few raised beds built, plenty of digging done, woodchip paths down (About 30 barrowloads up and down a hill!) and a lot of clutter shifted but still plenty to do. Got spuds, radish, beans, peas and carrots planted/sown with more stuff on the windowsill getting going. But most importantly really enjoying it - more so now I've got my kettle and stove situation sorted!

Solid advice from Jezza there.
