This is true, and made me happy.
I was delivering a parcel to an address, and they were out. I noticed their neighbour was pottering with his bins, so wandered over, and asked him if he would take it in for them. It was the Bristol City goalie, Frank Fielding, with a light cast on his arm.
"Would you mind taking this for #14 mate?"
"Aye, no problem mate"
"The name is Fielding isnt it?"
"Yeah, how do you know?"
"Well your wife has a few deliveries, and I follow football"
"Haha, sound"

Well if his talent is half as good as his personality, might not be the worst idea! Absolutely top bloke.
Genuinely excited at Bristols current run of form, even though he is injured, and interested in the clubs history, which was a surprise.
But the Grand Old Team reference was magic!
