Just got home after a weekend in Leeds with missus and friends. Opened a letter to receive news I have got away with a parking ticket. Got issued it when I dropped my grandson at nursery a while back. Parked at hospital where missus works and pays for parking permit, but apparently parked in the wrong permit area. Knobhead parkie issued me a ticket within seconds. I just drove off while he was sorting the ticket. Got a seventy quid fine in the post, but wrote an appeal letter which was mildly amusing explaining what happened. Letter I have received back is basically saying I was in the wrong but apparently he should have issued a ‘Regulation 10 vehicle driven away’, but he issued a ‘Regulation 9 handed to driver’. Hahaha
I got an Arriva Click bus for the first time today and to be fair I’m majorly impressed.
Just watched an Ad with The Hoff in it...he basically just walks on, stands there, walks off. He's got some serious corset / sucking the gut in action going there, stiff as a board from hips to neck
I'm sorry but anyone who uses lawnmowers, strimmers or power tools before 10am should be summarily executed.

To be honest I'm getting my own back on the neighbours. Whenever one of yhem sparks up a mower the missus looks and says "oh look ours needs doing".
I'm just getting ahead of the curve and am now waiting to hear their mowers.

Day off today. Missus at work, lad at school. I’ve hoovered and mopped, though not up to her spec, cut the lawn, been for a run and had a bath. Just sat down with cup of tea and a cheese sandwich, and selected a film to watch. Tyrannosaur. Aaaand relax.

Yes. It’s an ace city.
Plenty of little breweries, I was pretty close to Schumacher Brewery which was a beer that grew on you. Everything’s pretty easy to walk around and get to.
