Minor things that make you happy

:D Sewed a load of seeds in the front garden to hopefully create a wild meadow look; poppies, wild flowers, corn field flowers, and they seem to have germinated and poked their little heads above the soil. Will look brilliant in the summer, and great for the bees as well. @Joey66

Bamboo gone as well mate.
Hallelujah ;) send us photos when your meadow is in full bloom

Did the weedkiller work on the Bamboo?or was it a machanical digger ?

A grinder. Got ride of the mothership, leaving an easily managed amount to treat if/when leaves appear.

I left home to come to work on February 12th. Then a colleague had an accident at home which meant I had to cover, no choice really. So I thought I would be here until end of June.
I‘ve just had a message saying I can go home in two weeks, 17th, I’m over the moon.
Gin is ready and waiting, cucumber, ice, lemonade. Can’t wait.
After my joy at being told this news I’ve now been told there was a mix up over quarantine periods for the person coming to take over and now I’m staying until end of May.
Gutted at first but thinking about it I’m grateful to have a job in these times. It’s only another two weeks, I’m on the home straight, I’ll have a nice break when I do get home and my Hendrix Gin will still be there!

Life is good really
