Minor things that make you happy

i think they go on sale tomorrow . I got them in a pre sale . It must of been from the game that was cancelled by covid in 2020
Thank you kind sir.

Went to the chippy last night, our standard order, cod, scampi, big bag of chips, couple of gherkins for herself. Got back to the gaff, unwrapped the gherkins and found a meat pie. Triple happy that, her grumpy face, free pie for me for today's match and a lot of chuckles at the poor sod looking forward to his pie dinner and ending up with pickles and chips lol

True story, not one upmanship.
Years ago, before supermarkets hit liverpool, when there were such things as a guy who supplied eggs to the local neighbourhood, I got sent by my Gran for 1doz eggs.
Everyone was a double
Wow, now that’s what I call a very happy surprise. Especially since double yolkers are a rare phenomenon that occurs in roughly one out of every 1,000 eggs.”

The little red rooster was a busy lad that day...or twins must run in his family...or is it all to do with the hen(s)

Do they ever hatch out

Double yolkers do tend to come in batches. This is due to the fact that they are usually from younger chickens and most flocks tend to be similar aged birds. They also tend to be slightly bigger than average so when the eggs get graded into size, the double yolkers are often packed together. (getting all 12 in a box must still be very rare)
Apparently you are very unlikely to buy a double yolker in an American supermarket as they are deemed 'imperfect' and get rejected. UK supermarkets are fine with them.
They very rarely hatch BTW

How interesting, thanks for enlighten us dear Kev. Thankfully some of us have good neighbors and coworkers that provide us with eggs that are more delicious than those found in the common US supermarket.
