Beeping at the striking ambulance staff in solidarity and getting loads of waves back.
Started a new job back in July '22 and the role involves regular site visits all around the county, probably 20 a month.
The sheer amount of lovely dogs I've met at these site visits is an unexpected bonus. Most recently a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Nellie and a GSD called Alfie - both absolute cuddle monsters!

Started my first proper private job today after going back on the tools; rebuilding a small sandstone wall had come down. Not a big job, but I’m trying to be as professional as possible, keeping people informed every step, being self sufficient to the point that they don’t even know you’re there etc. They really appreciate it and I get a nice dopamine hit as a result. It brings real pride.
It’s definitely going to be a lot harder work if I go on my own, but having full control and no miserable tits to bring you down is great.

Went for a 10k run as soon as saints scored their winner. Tidied the house, changed bed sheets and fresh showered. Going to grab a few cold beers now.
