Sneakily dropped a load of trade waste at the tip today.

Hopefully my van will stop doing wheelies now.

It's a good cuppa but I'm no expert; also a nice contrast to a dram of Laphroaig or similar Islay, which can revive the dead and is my more typical drink. It's prominently an Early Grey, those two ingredients are pretty far in the background. It's also not super astringent, which is the main barrier for me with tea because I don't use much milk, if any. And yes, I am ill currently...ye olde Evertonitis is flaring up again.

I follow “Footy scran” on Twitter and keep seeing various pies , I finally got to try a Macaroni pie at Annan Athletic today. It was nothing to write home about but it made me happy, going to Livingston v Hearts tomorrow further research will take place.

You’ve got me thinking now, I’ve been lucky enough to visit the States 10 times and I can’t remember having a pie of any sort. I’m going to St.Paul at the beginning of March and my friends and I are planning a road trip from Chicago to Austin via Nashville in September, pies will be hunted down

I took my 8 year old granddaughter to see the Lion King in Manchester.
Beforehand we went to Chinatown to eat.
I was astounded that she ate all her meal with chopsticks. And so were the staff.

I still made a mess with a fork.

I usually go for simple, so steak and ale, or chicken and mushroom. If I can find a lamb filled one I'll go for that though.

First time I've had a Saturday off since Christmas and I'm really enjoying it. Got a load of my life admin out of the way, next it's off to the gym and then a nice lunch somewhere to undo all the hard work.

I love being a fatty at weekends.

Had a dodgy stomach the last week but after watching that win got to give my Guinness nitrosurge a go for the first time and enjoyed a lovely pint of the black stuff at home.
