Got myself a promotion in work today.

When the father in law, who lives next door, sends me a message to say he has made a curry and has a plate for me. He was head chef in a well respected local restuarant for years so his food is top notch.

Somebody had had quite the day !

yep, the road is called Canning highway (I live one street back from it). He used to start drinking at one end and make his way into Freo where he would invariably be in a drunken stupor.

Just before covid they closed the entire street off for a Highway to Hell festival - bands playing ACDC songs on the back of trucks driving along the 12km stretch to Freo. Estimated about 150,000 lined the streets for it
