I went to the toilet today in John Lewis and a guy, who just went into a cubical, dropped his wallet so I let him know. He said thanks etc.
The convo ended and all of a sudden this guy came over to both of us and said 'i saw the wallet on the floor and was going to pick it up for you, but he (me) beat you to it' it was so weird lol it was silent for like 5 secs and the guy then thanked him for spotting the wallet, and the other guy was buzzing
