Just got a call from a good friend's wife and after 3 years he just woke up from a coma!(Got into a horrific wreck). To say she was teary on the phone would be an understatement! Their were times in these past 3 years where we did not think he would ever wake and were talking about end of life types of things.

Just plain awesome! Has 2 kids and was/is a very well liked history teacher. Hopefully after some time he can get back to teaching again.

Going to see him up in Salem, Massachusetts just as soon as I can!

Obviously not minor. Wow...best to him as he is re-acquainted with goings-on.
 
My daughter just gone to santerini in Greece if I've spelt it right, her fella got the hotel to help him with a surprise he asked her to marry him they decorated the room while they were out for a beer bloody ell the room was amazing so nice.. said to him she's feckin yours now lol lol made up for both of them.. have we signed anyone decent yet:oops:
 


Going home tomorrow after a gruelling 192 hours shift in work…. 8 days away doesn’t sound like much but it’s been bloody hard work this past week. Get 4 days at home now then back in for another 6 day shift (my own fault as I’m hammering the overtime at the moment), will all be worth it when I’m lay on the beach in Kefalonia living like a king in September.
 
Went to the Doctors today for a blood test. No nurses available so I get a stand in paramedic who tried for 20 minutes sticking his needle here and there but no blood. Got to go back later in the week. Went next door to the pharmacy to try to get the missing item from my prescription from last week (post transplant anti rejection drugs). Queued for an hour before an old woman behind me collapsed and fell on top of me. Helped sort the old woman out and waited ten minutes more while clutching my leg, gave up and went home. Later in the afternoon hobbled down to the shoe repair place later; steel shutters down with a note saying gone on holiday, back Saturday. Today can feck right off.

What a :rant: day.
