Minor things that make you happy

Someone smashed up an 8 pack of 500ml (bottles) Magners cider in Tesco, was £11, down to £6. Wanted Guinness, will settle for silver medal. If you have a nectar card, Sainsbury's are doing 15 x 440 cans of Heineken, one pack for £16 or two for £22. Bourbon deals have switched everywhere as well.
If the jackals can keep their howls of derision down, there might be another Picasso fridge moment tomorrow, maybe!

Just had the pleasure of assembling some flat pack furniture that for once, everything was present, the instructions made sense, the holes all lined up, the fixings were of high quality.
Quite likely the best piece of flat pack I have ever assembled.
(Was a toddlers riser for standing at work tops that can transform into a table and seat)

Seeing someone write “avoid like the plague!!!!” on a review. As if actively avoiding the plague is commonplace in modern society.

It’s almost always preceded by a mindless rant, and that sign off just confirms it.

Love it, can I add the following?

People who write IMHO, usually a warning that you are about to read a massive load of pony.

Had a CD arrive from Amazon with a tiny ding in the sleeve. Was in two minds whether I could be arsed sending it back (really small ding) but eventually decided to send it back.

Put it through on the website and got an instant refund (as credit) with no return necessary. I'll cope with the tiny ding given it's now free!

Have you got a recipe which you can post on here ?
Yep, it's very easy. I'll post it tonight. All the dried fruit in it can amended to whatever you like/have got in the house. The same with the alcohol, I used orange quince brandy and port, but any spirits will do (dark spirits are best, sherry, whisky, rum etc. or as in the recipe, cider, which I used last year. I binned off the nuts.
