Minor things that make you happy

First sip of a perfect cup of tea.
perfect tea to milk ratio
(Tea first then milk obviously)
perfect temperature
With the tea bag removed I hope, or even better, the Full Monty; leaf tea, teapot, properly boiled water...(making due allowance for any Boyle's Law fluctuations that may apply due to your location.)

Edit; and a suitable biscuit to (carefully) dip in...nothing worse than having an over dipped biscuit break up in your tea - ruins the whole ethos of the moment.

Expediency leads me to using a tea bag, but I will not argue against loose leaf being the ideal.

Tea in cup, boiling water poured over, steep, take out tea, add milk (and sugar. I have to offset my ginger-ness with some sweetness).

It’s an art… to let it steep long enough to be good and strong, but not bitter nor too cool as the milk will further lower the temp. Don’t forget to account for ambient room temp in this calculation.

Sounds like you have it all under control...but I don't believe for one minute you need extra sweetness 😍*

(*degsy; knowing which side his bread is buttered on Re. The Distaff side for more years than he sometimes cares to remember.)
