People who were at the game were saying that he didnt limp off the pitch and it was more like a light jog as he came off? Surely that means it isnt that serious and he was brought off so it didnt completely go?

He was like this when he first camr with us but Its not his falit Its notes for starting him he would be ok.
He will have been advised, he didn't make the decision in isolation from that - but it has been his decision. He's took that decision knowing the conditions of the match build up and also having in recent memory how he was brought back before (presumably under the same medical advice) to disastrous effect.
It's his call as the manager; his judgement. It backfired. Should we say he was actually right to bring him back?
He'll have continuous hamstring problems.Rojas might struggle in the premier league with his size. Cracking little player though
Kennedy to get a massive run in the first team.
Also, Gueye is much less a replacement as another -1. Someone should take him to the vet and have him put down.
The physio & the player himself will have made the call re: his readiness for selection.
Moyes will have sought assurances that he was ready & he obviously received them.
He therefore merely picked the strongest team available to him.
The lad broke down, bad luck, poor medical assessment? we simply don't know, but to look to pin the blame on Moyes is pathetic
Isn't it just a scare? I'm sure Moyes said in his interview after match that it doesn't look serious. Those blaming Moyes should bear in mind the injury happened after only 18 minutes. Who's to say it wouldn't have still happened had he been careful and brought him on as a sub in the 70th minute then?
coming from sn athletics background, and having a much higher understanding of injuries than most people in football (dinosaurs) it's quite likely that Mirallas has struggled to adapt to Moyes' tough training programme
he had no major injury issues till he joined everton so it makes sense, he's a professional footballer so his hammies will be strong as ****, people get hamstring injuries due to overloading in training/races/matches whatever sport you're in, rarely because they're weak. mechanical issues can also be a problem but from what i've seen he runs pretty nicely
someone needs to seriously review this and look at lowering his training load. bellamy was a similar type of, said he could only train once a day and had to be quality work not donkey work or else he'd be ****ed ... torres is another example; gone to chelsea and done a lot of fitness based work and he's lost his speed and basically his enitire game
Torres lost his entire game long before he moved to Chelsea.
I think the most obvious point has been made by others on this issue: what's happened to bringing players back gradually through 'reserve' team outings? Have we dispensed with this because it's a small squad quality-wise? I understand the manager comes to his opinion with the help of experts in their field and that the player himself will offer feedback. But really, after one lengthy lay off after coming back early there's really no excuse that Mirallas wasn't eased back via game time in a less rigorous environmet than a 4th Round FA Cup tie in wintry conditions. As I mentioned before, ultimately you have to put it all down to operating with a small core of credible first team players stretched to breaking point. Again, the manager has to take some responsibility for that also.
