Can understand the stoppage

But masvidal would have still won anyway imo
Diaz does have history of soaking up damage in the first 3 and getting decisions in the last two....
Disappointing end to a great fight, even worse to see apparently Dana isn't interested in a rematch

He’s wanting Connor to fight them that’s why. Those two wanting the rematch so bad will get it though.

Not often you see someone win a decision when one judge calls it 30-27 the other way round.

Wish Till had got knocked clean out again the horrible kopite

Masvidal was superb last night. His striking is clean, his movement and decision making is on another level too. You could see at the end of round 1 how nasty that cut was and I had a feeling they may stop the fight if it continued into the later rounds.

Diaz has always had problems with scar tissue and it’s such a shame he gets opened up so easily because of it because he’s game for anything and anyone. Disappointing end to the fight with the doctor stepping in, but wow, Masvidal is fast becoming a star.

Gastelum v Till was garbage. Exactly what a co-main event shouldn’t be. Both fighters playing it safe and not interested in exchanging. How one judge can score 30-27 to Gastelum and another 30-27 Till is beyond bizarre. Rogan made a good point during commentary ‘ put the judges names up on the big screen during fights, show everyone their scoring as the rounds go by, let them be accountable ‘.

Stephen Thompson was rolling back the years with that performance. A proper kick boxing show. Luque wanted a top 10, he got it in 37 year old Thompson and now knows he’s simply not good enough yet for this level of fighter.

Kevin Lee. Jesus Christ I hate this guy. For me he’s a guy who you want to see his words getting rammed back down his throat. Not liked this idiot since before he fought Chiesa. But good lord, that’s as devastating of a KO as you’ll ever see. The noise of the kick was brutal. Credit where due here, that’s one of the best KO’s I’ve seen for a while.

Nate Diaz has a 10 win, 10 loss record over the last ten years. Unsure why he's still talked about as at elite level; I had Masvidal all day long as the favourite going into that.

I was more surprised by Till beating Gastelum, who is very decent.

I dont think anyone with any knowledge really talks about Diaz like that to be fair.

He’s a massive name in the mainstream because of the fights with McGregor but never elite.

Dana will be absolutely spewing that Diaz didn’t win that fight last night to set up the BMF belt in the trilogy fight with Conor.

Despite his record he is a handful for any fighter on the day; His Jiu Jitsu is elite level and he's a danger for any fighter. His problem and has always been the problem is his movement standing up and in particular, his defense against strikers. Which explains his constant problems with scar tissue and how easily he opens up. It didn't help that he only fought Pettis 3 months ago and his cuts from that fight clearly hadn't healed enough. Had last nights fight been in Las Vegas and not New York, the fight wouldn't of been stopped that early and he would of come out to fight in the 4th.

Masvidal had clearly won the previous 3 rounds, I just would of liked to of seen it go longer.

Interesting that Masvidal said they'll run it back and do it again during his interview with Rogan; I just can't see it though, not anytime soon anyway. Both are 34 years old, Masvidal is climbing the ladder with speed and wants a shot at the belt, as that's been his focus for 18 months now. Diaz was a stepping stone for him and it'll likely take Diaz months and months for those cuts to heal....... by which time Masvidal/UFC will be looking at him fighting the winner of Covington/Usman in December i'd imagine. Woodley is still in the picture too.

I can't see Masvidal / Diaz fighting within the next 12 months and no chance they'll fight if Masvidal ends up champion.

After that gash main event in the ufc, switched over to bare knuckle fighting championship in time for this main event.... Artem Lobov v Jason Knight.

Gamey, backyard-ish, brilliant.

Big one tonight
