It’s been rough, but still what a ride this season has been to be one of the last four teams standing. Dodgers are a very good team and a really tough matchup given their numbers vs. LHP and overall plate discipline.
That being said, I have a feeling there’s still a bit of magic left in this season. Even if it all ends tonight, there are many reasons to be optimistic for the future. Personally, I think we have best Front Office situation we’ve had since Frank Cashen put together that mid-80s team.
Oh absolutely, nobody expected us to even be here. I’m not mad that it could all end tonight, they’ve been warriors since late May. Even they get beat tonight, I hope the Citi crowd stay until the end and clap them off the field.
Little tweak to the batting order as well for tonight’s game. Hopefully Peterson can go at least 7, we just need the run support for him.

10-2 becomes 10-6 just like that and now it’s very likely the Dodgers have the momentum to win this 11 or 12 to 10. We need at least another run in the bot6th to get us some confidence back.

They beat up their bullpen in game 2.
Could have really done with honeywell not playing half the game yesterday. (Whilst we used Stanek, Diaz).
The one thing about this Dodgers side is they've got runs in them, so it's a question of, can the Mets score 20 runs over two games?
The Mets will be playing meaningful baseball on October 20, that's a huge statement to free agents in the Winter.
