Transfer Rumour Mohammed Kudus

I’ve seen him described as a striker, number 10, winger and central midfielder. What actually is he?
10 is what I’ve seen him as mostly. However most of the videos I’ve watched show him playing more as a 6? I think the real answer is he can play them all. Having the right blend around him will be important

If we could utilise him as a ball-playing 8 (think what Gomes should've been) then we could be on to something.

Only thing I'd say there though is how would Onana & Iwobi fit into that equation? unless we're planning to play him somewhere in the front three.. I can't see us opting for a no. 10 unless Lampard & Co are simply wanting the option.

…that lad says he was brought up in a ‘slum’, from humble beginnings. Looks like they are football mad.

I always say Rooney was the last of the street footballers, it’s a rare site in the City these days. Those of us who grew up in the 60s had a ball stuck to our feet all day.

Foden was still playing in the street with his mates in the last couple of years. Those Street footballers are still around, but definitely way rarer in the UK these days.

think it depends on the league a bit, and his age.
developing as a 10 in the eredivisie doesn't translate well to the PL.
he'd get knocked and buffeted all over the place by PL defenders and def mids and get shown up (be interested to see how he stacks up to thugs like Hojberg)
but eredivisie does give players more chance to hone their attacking skills and instincts.
thus he succeeds in the PL imo by being an allrounder, positioned deeper than the 10, ie he must be able to defend the midfield - thats the difference between Klassen and Wijnaldum.
If he can then he is already miles ahead of Gomes, Davies and the like.
Frank could play two 8s (Kudus and Onana) and a 6 (Gana) in an inverted midfield.

Yeah I dont know what cave eggs has been living in but go to any low income part of London, Liverpool, Manchester etc and they'll be lads kicking a ball aboot.

The major difference is when these young lads make it the money they earn in the UK is massive and thus the determination and drive dips for most.

Look at Ravel Morrison as a perfect example. We had our own in Green and Baxter who let the relative fame get to their heeds.

I think he looks quality, albeit from a YouTube video. Excellent feet, skill, pace. But I've also noticed he's quite creative with his final ball.

We still need a striker but this makes me feel more comfortable. I think he'd do a job either as the creative force in midfield in a 4-3-3 or off the right in 3-4-3 or as a second striker in 3-5-2.
