That may be nothing, like something lost in translation, but it can be read as, “but please don’t go.” The other thing is that the early reports said personal terms were worked out, so that opens the possibility that he wants to go and has already worked things out with Everton informally, and they’re waiting for the official approach and trying to encourage their player not to push for an exit.

The simplest answer is no, just a bad guess call by someone looking for a scoop, and it snowballed.

My feeling, not based on any inside info but just how dysfunctional orgs work is that there are competing interest groups getting involved in the transfer process. And no doubt, some leeking to help reduce anger. It was the last home game before the window shutting wasnt it?

He’s only replying to posts defending his position, no replies to specific questions.

I would imagine (and this isn’t a dig at him) that he’ll only give other info to those who pay & subscribe to his Bullens view podcast/ patreon.

I think that's why it's chaotic mate. It's not a thought through plan, but competing groups.

I mean I don't think it's a complete blag, but it's an exeggeration.
