So if he comes, does he come as a starter?
I reckon no one in this thread has actually watched him play a game of football.

The way I see it, if he is instrumental in us getting CL football then we will attract more players of his standard. He's probably worth much more than 36m right now. Lets pretend that is right and the buy back is 50m. After a couple years his book value again will be significantly reduced. So on a 5 year deal would be worth 21m, the profit to say 50m would be 28m.
Now we are losing the potential to sell him much much higher or even just have access to him if Juve want him back, which would be a bigger issue for us as we have to go through the pain of replacing him.
My take is given the talent he supposedly has he could well be worth 50m already, but the buyback is giving us access we might not otherwise be able to afford or risk.
So 36m and have him for a couple years worst case plus about 28m profit or pay 60m and get him with no clause but risk him not actually working out.
I feel it makes sense, as long as we are getting a bit of a discount on the current fee, which we clearly did with Geri.
With blue tips tooLooks quick, skilful and a natural finisher. Also has early Lukaku-Cadematri hybrid dreads which is worth the purchase in and of itself.
I've watched him for 2 or 3 Serie A games. Liked him a lot so asked some Italian friends and did some other research.I reckon no one in this thread has actually watched him play a game of football.
I haven’t even watched him on YouTube but know he’s a crap no mark/our next God.I reckon no one in this thread has actually watched him play a game of football.

Both are dual nationality Italian/African; I'm sure that's why. Plus who else does that leave? Balotelli?Apparently he’s his hero so makes sense
Would honestly not be opposed to this whatsoever. If he scores one goal while tearing his MCL then so be it.![]()
