I’m going to be honest here,
I’m a bit worried about us chucking 40 mil at a 19 year old unproven in this league to be our main man.
Experience goes a long way and this kid is lacking it.
I’m sure I’m wrong and he’d be fine but it’s a big step for all parties

not sure what the downside is - if he turns out to be kack and score hardly any goals then we are just where we were for the last 2 seasons....

He'd cost more than that and he scored 0 goals in the world cup to lose half the forum a bet so he's a no-go.

Because Werner will move to Bayern because they don't let the top crop of German players out of their hands especially if it is on a free transfer next summer.
He wants to make a step up from Leipzig and, well, Everton would be a step down for him that I can assure you of.
