A the veryt best we get a tenuous 6th position sometime during the Silva tenure
all built on shaky foundations.

Moise is a great signing in this regard.
Another more experienced striker in the next couple of windows would be needed, with the obvious offloads.

I do get it to extent, I remember the Manny Fernandes fiasco well. Stories of him bailing from a team scran at Nando’s into a taxi only to appear in a Valencia shirt the following morning... actually quite funny in retrospect

But that’s the transfer window, so many unpredictable factors, players, agents, insane money, clubs etc.
It’s the easy to moan at Everton for the time delay, but these are are multi million pound deals where we are essentially buying a human being... it’s a fair bit complex
