I do get it to extent, I remember the Manny Fernandes fiasco well. Stories of him bailing from a team scran at Nando’s into a taxi only to appear in a Valencia shirt the following morning... actually quite funny in retrospect :D

But that’s the transfer window, so many unpredictable factors, players, agents, insane money, clubs etc.
It’s the easy to moan at Everton for the time delay, but these are are multi million pound deals where we are essentially buying a human being... it’s a fair bit complex lol

Manny Fernando's was in the Marriot in Queens Square with his agent (who was on the phone a lot) . I was talking to him (bladdered) a couple of times saying "yeah your signing for Everton and we love you" blah blah blah

He got into a car with his agent at the front of the hotel and couldn't back the car up, I of course helped, thinking he was off for a good night's sleep before signing on the dotted line. Nope, they drove straight off to the airport where he got on a plane and signed for Valencia.

My only claim to fame is assisting Fernandes to do one sharply from a hotel to go and sign for someone else
 
I wish.
Went to Leipzig last december.
Finshing off the last of it in honour of with Mayo's victory...needed a good excuse.

Brother in laws from Mayo but living round the corner. Whiskey gets a run each game.
(stick to the beer with the blues, whiskey would be too dangerous)
So for the last 10yrs have been on the agonisingly, disturbingly yet wonderful Mayo bandwagon.
