Exactly.. first rule of negotiation is understanding your opponents weakness... and this was a massive one for them. They had little muscle if the player himself wanted out, which according to a few on that site he did owing to the racial abuse he got..
Also of potential top 6PL we are the best placed to give him the playing time he needs
There's a silver lining to DCL, Tosun, Niasse, Sandro

Imo first rule of negotiation is understanding your own weaknesses.

In this case our weakness became our strength ;)

Comparisons with Lukaku?
If Moise is able to bag 15-20 a season he will be twice the player Lukaku was.
He offers so much more.
I can’t wait for the tabloid comparisons to Balotelli. Despite the fact the lad says he was his idol growing up only for what he did on the pitch and off the pitch he did “stupid things”

....Lukaku is a top goalscorer but he hasn’t got a particularly good all-around game. I also question his attitude and wonder if the game really mattered to him at times. Kean might not get the same goal return, but I suspect he’ll be a very effective fit into how we play.

The good strikers are able to finish chances created, the very special ones also finish the chances they create for themselves. It’s great if you have a player capable of scoring from a nothing situation and i’m hopeful Kean fits into that category.

Interesting read here.. one especially thinking the racial abuse and how the club Handled it meant they were on the back foot with negotiations or risked losing him for free... timing is everything.. looking at the posts on the first page when he was called out at 14 years of age it’s no surprise it’s went South

Absolute fume!!!

There's not even a subtle attempt at not appearing to be racist eh?

Italy is weird.

My guess is 15 goals...

To be honest it could be absolutely anything...the boy looks like hes born to be a superstar.

It could be 10 / 15 / 20 or who knows what.

We now need to build the team and squad to get top 4 to keep players like him and Richarlison.

Worth waiting for eh ? Now we can start the season with renewed confidence.

Fantastic piece of business by the club, could possibly turn out be the best by any PL club of this transfer window.

He's going to become a Goodison hero when he starts banging them in. Can't wait.
