I actually looked it up. Looks like in our league games thus far, the only change Silva has made before 60 is the forced change when Gomes got injured against Palace. If we were running games then I’m on board, but you’re telling me that we didn’t need to make earlier changes at all given how we’ve played? No way.

Seems to be a pattern when a new manager comes. Initially they make pro-active subs with new signings. Then after a season they settle into their starting XI and become very reactive, waiting until its too late to change things.

If we are struggling and a goal is incoming, and he changes it to try and stop. I dont mind if it doesn't work, at least you have tried to cut the head of the snake. However its almost inevitable that any Everton manager waits, and waits and waits until the goal goes in, confidence drops, flow drops, makes the changes and nothing happens.
