Oh it definitely wasn’t a complete sitter like. Got to hit the target really though in that situation.

I agree it wasn’t as easy as people make out, the lads young trying to prove himself. The one thing you notice is you can tell he’s going to come good and will get goals, I never ever feel like that about DCL.

The poor lad's confidence is wrecked. Given what he did in Italy, there must be a player in there.

Hopefully he will be under Moyes wing or armpit today. Just hope a Kean doesn’t rub Moyes up the wrong way like Drenthe did. That’s if Moyes is coming back, which does look quite likely.

Kean looks like a talent to me, but he should have scored last night. Forget rustiness or whatever, you get starts by making an impact as a sub and that was his chance. He’s hardly been brought in from the cold having not kicked a ball, he’s been coming off the bench and started for Italy under 21s 2 weeks ago.

I feel like I’m having a go at him recently but I’m not really, I like the look of him, I just don’t think he’s this guaranteed answer to our prayers that some are painting him as. We were told we were getting a superstar, it looks like we have a talented but very raw kid.

Yes that's true mate, I forgot Sandro's stint at Barca where he was told in May 2016 that the only reason he was kept in the squad was because of Barcelona's transfer embargo which was to end shortly. Sandro was let go soon after.

Don't need to get sarky because you were wrong mate. I'm not trying to say Sandro was as good as Kean, if you could read you'd see that, but if you're going to use their previous clubs as evidence of ability, it's only fair to mention all their clubs, otherwise your argument doesn't work.

Can't believe this lad is being judged on playing about on average 7 minutes a game. How about he's given a proper run like another of our strikers and then let's see and if anyone just watching the lad can't see now that he is a better option than DCL then I give up.

the way he checked his run to make sure he was on side and took the shot on so early was very encouraging. He has a hunger and should have been starting a long time ago.
