I’m not writing anyone off, least of all Kean who I’ve said multiple times is clearly a talented lad who was just hugely overhyped.

We can only comment on what we see though. Or the sensible ones can. Others will make excuses for people and claim that they would be amazing if it wasn’t for x,y or z and will all come good. Just have a look in the Mina thread where the same people who used to say that Keane was a great signing and was being made to look bad having to play next somebody as awful as Ashley Williams, are now saying Mina is a great signing who is being made to look bad by playing next to somebody as awful as Keane.

Kean just needs to play football. It's difficult for any footballer just to play cameo appearances.

Reading through some of the nonsense here, don't forget he's been selected for the Italian U21s and played for Juventus. So obviously the kid has something in his locker. I do wonder how he is being looked after. Is he eating a highly nutritional diet or is he scoffing fast food? These are the fine margins that can affect your performance in top games.

Meaningless statement even if the club has a nutritionist. The question is Kean eating a nutritious diet. He does look out of shape. A young single man living in a foreign land makes it easy to follow the wrong diet.

Always harder when you're only being given a few minutes here and there. Why he didn't come instead of Tosun in the first place is beyond me.
