2019/20 Moise Kean

I’m clinging to his Juve and Italy goals, and there’s been definite (small) glimmers of ability in his last couple of cameos

It will all come down to his attitude I reckon

We spent a lot of money on him so it's worth persisting with. Never watched him before he came here so all I can see is a young kid struggling to make his mark.

He's still playing exactly the same way as he was when he played against Watford in August. Trying far too hard. There's a variety of reasons for that, just surprised the coaching staff having looked to address it.

Looks completely out of sorts for me. I’ve never seen him play beforehand but not seeing the potential here. His first touch is poor, he can’t beat a man and seems to get the ball stuck in his feet a lot. I’m hoping he is just suffering from a massive confidence drain but if you didn’t have any journalists in Italy hyping him up, we’d be calling him a poor version of Marcus bent....

The blind love from football fans always makes me laugh. We all hope he discovers some form but there's been nothing to suggest he's about to turn a corner. Oh well, at least he has time on his side.
Thing is what to me suggests he is going to turn a corner, is Carlo Ancelotti, for Kean it's a game changer.
He tried to.sign him for Napoli, he knows the talent is there

19 and get like 10 minutes a game. Give him a bit of time and minutes to adapt and settle?

I think playing up top with DCL could be very good for him. DCL is at his best when he is a main target going up to flick on balls, with his back to goal. Richarlison benefits from that because he likes to be going at goal, and can turn that flick on into an immediate threat. From what I have seen of Kean it seems he is the same. He is at his best facing goal with a defender to take on with his pace and strength, and perhaps one of the next matches will have Richarlison out wide and Kean up top with DCL giving him that opportunity.

He’s had plenty of opportunities to at least do something. Even if he’s on the pitch for 5 minutes I expect him to be able to keep hold of the ball better than he does. Age is irrelevant. You don’t get more points in a league game by playing a younger side. If we’ve bought him for 30 mill then he should have a base level of play better than he’s currently showing. There are plenty of 19 year olds performing in the premier league.....I seem to remember one who plays for us ripping it up for Watford straight from a foreign league

I’d give him a go against Newcastle alongside DCL and drop Richarlison in to the roke

I’ve seen enough from Richarlison in the last 2 games when he’s got on the ball in deeper areas, turned and carried it forward to know he could be effective there.

It gives us far more of a goal threat.

As much as I love Bernard, he doesn’t really hurt teams.
