Exactly what he did at Juve. Seen none of that here since the Lincoln game. If, as a striker, you're somewhat isolated, you drop deep or pull out wide to see more of the ball and create space for others. He's done nothing. I've watched him during games stand still, hands on hips or doubled over after a sprint. His off the ball movement is almost non-existent.

The big chances he's had, he's missed, including a couple of sitters. Hasn't been anywhere near enough of a 'nuisance' for defences to create things for others either. He's appeared utterly bereft of energy and fitness, positionally and tactically inept and, most disappointingly, just hasn't taken his chances.

I can appreciate we tempered expectations and nobody really expected for him to come in and knock 15 goals IAC but I've no idea why our fans set their expectations for this kid so perilously low either.

He cost a wedge, he's an Italian international who was playing for Juventus and in the Champions League. That alone doesn't make him a top player, but it's experience enough to place reasonable expectations on the lad coming in.

Barring the derby chance (which although he should have scored was hardly a sitter), when has he missed any sitters?

I'm still reserving my judgement on him and hoping he comes good but my biggest concern is his lack of spacial awareness. A lot of the time he turns into defenders or lets the ball run when he should be controlling it etc.

I actually am beginning to feel sorry for him DCL and Richarlison.

Imagine playing in front of Walcott, Sigurdsson, Delph and Schneiderlin....also Bernard is a good player but doesnt rack up killer balls into them.

No wonder theyre not getting the plaudits.

Put them in the RS or City teams and they would net boatloads.

Those clubs wouldn't entertain such technically limited players.

Presumably by Kenn you actually mean Kean? Are you really comparing the two (?) - Pogba is 26 years old, has 70 international caps and has played over 220 first team games!

Meanwhile Moise Kean is 19 now playing for a new team in a different country,was involved in about 20 games for Juventus, and so far about 20 for Everton if that!

Yup, fair comparison that!

Hes 19yr old had a tough start in a new country (like some older more experienced players have done in the past but come good) but obviously hes not very good just send him to Sunderland on a free transfer please

To be fair as much as I dislike him, pogba on his day can be absolutely superb

He just doesn't seem that arsed and more interested in getting his hair sprayed a different colour

I think you are right, i just hope tha Carlo has seen enough of the dross and recalls how he wanted Kean at Napoli.
Roy Hodgeson was saying earlier he wanted Cenk before Everton got him, and now has his target, these guys dont forget, i hope lol

Really really want to like him but the more I’ve seen him, the less impressed I’ve been. Looks wildly erratic and his control hasn’t improved.
