Why do we need someone to be?

Nobody is breathing down Harry Kane's neck. He seems to be doing fine.

When Harry Kane was 19/20 there was players like Adebayor, Soldado, Defoe etc in those positions. All experienced international strikers who were capable of slotting. He wasn't walking into that team at Spurs; he had to earn it.

Get that, but I don't really care about his age. He looks good enough and ready now, play him every minute of every game.

And with that said, I’ll be honest- he didn’t work nearly hard enough for somebody that came on that late in the game. He put no pressure on Palace at all. Idk if that was by design, but it’s something I noticed. Hopefully it isn’t a trend.

He got the same services DCL Zilch ....no creation in midfield to put a through ball in Sig was poor today - Snides should note end be on the bench....
Any forward needs a supply line - we just don't do it enough to score goals !

I think delph when fit will be a decent supply line. Bernard should of shot when he tried to be clever. At least snides actually showed a bit of passion when beating the floor up. Iceman was worse the poor for me he should of been taken off well before he did tbh

He would have had grief off some fans after the first 5 minutes. You just know it.

No chance. I’m an ideal world yes, but he’s the big hope, if he’s not scored in 5/6 games the crowd will get restless, and understandably so. We need a goalscorer, if he’s not ready, although it’s not his fault, people are going to be fuming.

Yeh, in a way our forwards were on at the wrong times yesterday.

I'd fancy Moise to have a better chance to slot when were were on top in the first half. But at the same time would prefer DCL on once we went down to 10, when slotting would be a bonus rather than a necessity.

Anyway, difficult start for the lad, but not of his own making.
