2019/20 Moise Kean

Big fan of him getting the ball, taking their midfield out the game, dribbling it from the middle of their half into their box, (penalised for absolutely nothing too), and then he doesn’t receive a single pass into his feet after that.

We’re absolutely woeful with that first pass into our attackers when we have a chance to counter, we so rarely just put their ball into their feet.

Gordon really showing this guy up with his attitude, positivity, showing for the ball. Has to do more when you are trying to get in the team.

DCL also suffered for that today + Richarlison came deeper of course then got hacked to bits.

Im sure Gordon would have the same problems as DCL / Kean if he was isolated up top and never received a pass to feet.

Richarlison came deep and got hacked...ref was one sided and missed 4 or 5 hacks on him

Hard to judge when the team is creating nothing with the ball and offering nothing from midfield. There's glimpses there, he's on his second or third (including Ferguson) manager at a new club in a new country so I still think the jury should be out.

There's not many young players get playing time at Juventus and 3 Italy caps so I'd assume there's some pedigree there.

Gordon's playing in midfield and the balls rarely getting out of midfield. That's not a criticism of Gordon but the comparison doesn't really hold up.

Is it easy to tell whether he's showing for the ball and moving well when watching the game on the TV? The nature of the coverage falls on the ball and where it goes - he could be doing as asked perfectly well off camera but you're not gonna see it unless the ball is played.

If there were people at the game saying this I could understand as you see a lot more but on the TV? There's a reason scouts go to the match.

Lads a bit clueless atm. Heard pickers shouting to try to get him to show for it. No point coz he wins nothing in the air.
Pickford is one of the worst distributors of the ball I've ever seen. I can't remember the last time he kicked the ball to one of our players. Kean probably can't be arsed because of the absolute dirge around him.

Our squad is very weak, with major deficiencies in midfield so asking a kid in his first season in the toughest league in the world to carry the team is a bit unfair. Richardson is doing it, but has been in English football for a few years.

Think he would benefit with playing consistent first team football and he won't get that here until he improves. So it would benefit everyone if he was loaned out, somewhere with a slower pace or the Championship.

A complete excuse. But 90 percent of our players are getting them now. So may as well throw this guy in. Tv camera angles. That just takes the biscuit.

Just to add a bit more. If we are worried about tv cameras not covering this guys obvious skills, miles away from the ball. I’d be happy if the tv cameras were showing replays of some highlights of his abilities on the ball. Just a thought.
