King is very under rated and nearly got a move to Man Utd in January had Bournemouth agreed a fee with them.
He would be massively more reliable than either of Kean or DCL who are both "potential" and nothing more at this stage.

Kean is awful won’t do anything here, but Josh king isn’t the answer either. Tricky. When Kean signed it was honestly so exciting, but there’s a reason Juve got rid, their analyst teams must of identified something wrong.

People think we can afford to throw £50 million at a CF its not happening when there are about 7 other positions in need of strengthening.
For the fee rumoured Bournemouth want for him (£15-18 million) he would be a shrewd signing for any club.
If we could get Tosun out the door for a few bob we should be all over him.
We cant go into the season relying on DCL who has gone about 11 games without a goal and Kean who scored 2 goals all season.
An injury lay off to Richarlison and we are proper knackered up top.

If we are looking to add to our strikers, and I would reckon we are not, don't even spend a dime on them. It makes more sense to take whatever fee you are referring to for King and spend it, again, on a CM. We need just so much help in taht position. Bring in a striker on loan like Jovic. Easy.

I'm sure with the likes of Richarlison and Bernard unavailable, Kean could've been allowed more playing time today without it interfering with the rest of the group and whatever tactics we were trying out. Personally, I'm hoping that he gets a lot more minutes on the pitch for us this coming season... but I guess we'll just have to wait and see with that one.
....he’ll get a lot more minutes if he earns it. He’s been far from convincing and it says lots that Ancelotti gave Gordon lots more game time.
Kean’s last appearance, though, was very encouraging and he’ll certainly play more if he plays to that level. Fingers crossed.
