He’s our back up striker. We can’t afford patience when we’re trying to make strides in this league. We need a player who could come in and score goals consistently if DCL gets crocked.

I’d be more inclined to agree with giving him more time if his attitude and work rate wasn’t so poor.

And where are we going to get a consistent premier league striker who's willing to come and sit on the bench of a team that finished 12th last season.

We haven't been able to buy one for our first team let alone one to sit on the bench waiting on the off chance dcl gets a knock.

We need to at least be in Europe to have a squad like that and we aren't.

Disagree.

Somebody like Josh King scored 1 in 3 for Bournemouth. Not saying he’s the player we should be looking at, but it’s an easy example of a much more productive player than Kean.

This narrative that you can’t possibly find a more productive player than Kean when we’ve just signed Rodriguez and are being managed by Ancelotti is nonsense, in my view.

Remember a certain nemesis of ours went to Juventus. He allegedly didn’t realise they served “forin” food & talked funny. He hated it.
They thought they’d been sent a lookalike.
It happens..

Carlo obviously know what’s going on & doesn’t pick him.

My guess is there’s a stand off going on. Juve won’t be offering what we paid. Why would they, if the player only wants them?
Riola will be demanding “loyalty bonus” for the player & a wedge for him from both clubs....the fat leech.

We’ll know more by 11pm on Monday night.

I'll never forget that pen...

Italian clubs hearing that Everfton want to sell Kean back to them...

Supposedly he’s keen (pardon the pun) to go back, we’d only make around a £3m loss with the obligation to buy clause that Juve are ‘close’ to agreeing with us. PSG have made a loan offer as well

King’s wage demands would be far higher than a young player and he would presumably expect a three year contract . Considering his modest abilities that is too expensive.
