He hasn't been given a proper go, as he simply hasn't done enough to have the opportunity.

If he isn't deemed good enough to play under Ancelotti, with the way this team is heading, then he is no great loss.
Easy to make the Balotelli comparison, but it is there sadly. Look at how DCL has got his head down and improved every aspect of his game.
Talent is one thing, but it will only get you so far, unless you work hard every day.

Depends. A year on the bench with us he’s value declines. A year playing for PSG, scoring goals and we have a worldy on our hands in 12 months

I don’t think the loan move is as bad as people are making out, he grew his reputation at Juventus where he could make a real difference off the bench.

A lot easier to do that in Ligue 1 for PSG, than it is in the Premier League where for the most part, he’s looked toothless.

If it also sees as bringing in someone who can genuinely provide an option this season, we would have improved the squad yet again.

Granted nobody rates Kean, but how many strikers do we have left who can possibly get picked? Very strange and unwise decision to let a forward go without a replacement. Maybe Kean stinks the place out and has to be got rid of? But God help us if we have to resort to Tosun? Ramirez?
