I think there could be more to it than that. Maybe he didn’t enjoy living in the U.K. Can’t have helped that he didn’t get game time.

I think it’s really that simple to be honest.

If you move to a foreign country and leave your family you might be able to balance it with playing every week and feeling like you’re creating a name for yourself.

When you’re sat on the bench it becomes very easy to get bored of the crap British weather and totally different society you’re used to.

Could be. At the time I don't think we had any Italian speakers at the club, I'm sure that couldn't have been fun for the lad.

The common thread is playing time. Young players might be a tad up and down but they'll never be anything if they're watching. It makes no sense if they're watching players who don't perform.

People have a short memory he was truly terrible and had no fight for our league. He's doing well in the farmers league...it's no harder than the Scottish League!

It's the fifth best league in Europe. Scotland is like 19th. No France is not the PL but a lot of great players start there careers in France and he just might be another.

I still think he is useless, when Icardi is fit he won't get at game.
He is still lazy
His positioning is still awful
His control is still terrible
Get as much money as we can and sign someone carlo wants
He has all the ability and attributes but i doubt he will ever amount to much. In that sense i file him with Barkley, Rodwell etc. has everything except the 6 inches between his ears.
