It is also worth noting, prices are going to come down. 25% approx in the summer and I'd guess same again next year as the shock of some horrendous financial results has to hit. If you have an offer on the table, which turns a profit may well be a smart time to take it at this point. Prices may be lower again come the summer (think Lookman).

There will be no shortage of value options who may be more suitable too. King and Milik immediately come to mind.

This is a good point. Although PSG figure to be a team that has money either way.

And can we please stop with Josh King who is a footballer on the back half of his career that is struggling to have an impact in the championship?
 
Sounds mad, but don't think PSG have the money right now to be spending on Kean.

Their dough is going to be tied up in getting Neymar and Mbappe to long contracts and doing all they can to convince Messi - who has said he isn't deciding on his future until the end of the season.

Plus, Poch hasn't even worked with Kean yet.

You think he's performed well enough to be demanding £40m+? Like seriously have you watched him play? He's slotted a few but against terrible teams and his all round play is still shocking.

Yeah I've watched him. He's in the team to score goals. His movement and goalscoring is good when he's got real creativity in the team. All round play is secondary imo.
 
just can't see a deal being done until the end of the season

however, if we know a deal is all but done, go and spend the money this month

we'll make it back, even though I want Kean to be here, and we also have about 250k in weekly wages set to be freed up by Besic, Bolasie and Walcott going in six months' time
