If no other club wants him, though, what do we do? Keep him? If he’s made it clear he doesn’t want to play for us we’re keeping a player who won’t give us anything worthwhile on the pitch as opposed to getting a loan fee and his wages covered.

I know it’s cool to have a pop at Marcel and the board, like, but in this instance there really isn’t much to be done.
Has he actually said he doesn't want to play for us?

…it’s a quandary. His stock is at its highest now. If we bring him back as you suggest then his value weakens (let’s be honest he was very poor for us).

Another loan is ok as long as it incorporates an obligation to buy, otherwise flog him to the highest bidder if Kean wants a move.
That Fabrizio guy is saying specifically theres no "obligation to buy". Which is absolute daft to even suggest loaning him out if not.

Yes you keep him. Can't have a situation where you spend massive amounts on players and they can just sulk and get loans out for the duration of their contract.

It's PSG. If they won't sign him, it's not because they can't afford it.

Call the sulking brats bluff, say he's staying unless a club meets a valuation.
All of which I understand, but then fast forward a year and everyone in here is cryarsing because we’ve got no money to spend and in the meantime we’ll almost certainly have had 0 goals or assists from Kean.

It’s business, like it or not, and I think we need to do whatever makes/saves us the most money. Right at this point that’s a PSG loan. We COULD wait for a better offer to come along (risky) but I highly doubt we’ll cut our nose off to spite our face as you’ve suggested.

I know people say he was poor but he was 19 ffs coming to a notoriously hard league. I wasn't even judging the lad properly until he's 23/24. If we are going to get these youngsters at some point we have to start trusting them but also understand that they are young and learning the game still.

You wouldn’t judge a player till he’s been in the league 4-5 years????

No, wrong context, I mean I always think young players are still developing up until that age and like with DCL sometimes at that 23/24 age is when it clicks. I wouldn't sell him but develop him but I realise he may want out.

Seems a very unprofessional kid. You're on loan, loan ends return to parent club. Go through pre season, keep your head down and behave and a transfer might come in.

I understand he might not want to play for us, but he signed a contract and he should return to FF so we can negotiate the sale of our asset, he's not a PSG player.

Even though Carlo had gone Dunc is still there and he was the one that subbed him not long after he came on... maybe his beef is with him
