No one is paying 40m you clown - you can’t just put random valuations on players and expect them to be met.

he will not play much this season - a few games here and there at best if DCL stays injury free - he will be worth very little with 2 years left on his contract at the end of the season.

Moise Kean is 21 and scored 17 goals for PSG last season, becoming a regular starter for one of the leading teams in Europe.

We paid £27m for him two years ago.

He is easily worth around £35m – starting price – in today's market.

I expect that he'll be sold but if not then he'd be useful to have in the squad. Right now though, a sale would probably help us go and put funds towards areas we really need.

He is easily worth 35m - we are obviously willing to sell him for that, yet no one wants him?

he’s worth nowhere near that price.

PSG want him. There's a bloke called Lionel Messi they want more though.

Until Messi is sorted either way - he'll probably be staying at Barca – I don't think we'll see much movement from PSG committing to a £35m deal. That's all that's at play with that move.

In the meantime he's an Everton player and has returned to Everton.

We should absolutely not be loaning him out but if we take under £35m for a player of that age in this market then we're daft.

Surely if he’s ‘easily’ worth more than 35m we would have buyers queuing around the block for him?

He will get his chance at the start of the season, DCL will be back late to preseason and Richarlison at the Olympics. If I was him and desperate for a transfer away I've working my arse off and desperate to bag goals in preseason. We will see how hungry the lad is.

He might well do if his agent starts offering him around.

There's not much money about in Europe right now, the major clubs are all pretty skint bar PSG and Bayern. Barca can't even register any of their new signings until they've got some players off the books due to salary cap restrictions in Spain.

There's also seven-eight weeks of the window left

We've still got Kean and Tosun on our books. If Benitez plays 1 up front, 3 strikers is plenty.
