If I'm Kean I'd be a bit miffed and offended that they clearly don't think he's worth paying the money for tbh.

I can understand why he does n't want to play for us. He came from a club that was one of the top teams in Europe, where he was getting game time, and came to us when we were talking ourselves up to become top four contenders and spending big money one wages and transfers. He took the move away from Juve, probably thinking that if he could get first team game time with Juve that he would get even more game time with us, as our squad would still not be near as good as their squad was. Instead he found it really hard to get into the first team, and as the first season went by his confidence must have taken a right battering. Going off to PSG and getting a lot of first team appearances would only have confirmed that he would be better off not coming back to play for us.

Don’t think Simms is back in training yet as he was injured before the playoff final in May. Broadhead will likely be back up striker
