He has a touch of the Sandro about him. If we can get our money back then fair enough.
The lad has to want it. DCL is on fire but he’s worked his arse off, he wasn’t gifted it. He’s seen Cenk, Kean and Sandro come in destined to be the next No9 and they’ve all failed. He’s grabbed his chance.
If Kean has done the same he’d be playing. Whatever you do in life, footballer, actor, project manager... your goal is to be better than the other guy doing your job. Kean appears to expect it rather than earn it and maybe that isn’t the case at Juve has he knows the order of things there and where he sits in that order. Maybe he thought ya Everton regardless he’d be the main man but that’s not the case - certainly not under Don Carlo.
How do you reach all these conclusions?

If the lad is going so be it I trust in anchelotti judgment on a player. My issue is the price being touted for him, €25m that's €2.5 loss on the lad.

Last year we only got him for €27.5m because his contract only had a year on it. So how can his value he less when he's had a year further development and 4 years left on his contract? This lad is rated as one of the top young strikers in the world and we could loose on him. Meanwhile Brewster from them across the park is going for £25m and he's never stepped foot on a premier league game of football. It boggles the mind.

Obviously this rant is based on the rumoured fee being touted. So if the fee is higher then that IF he does leave I retract my statment.

Mostly guess work just like everyone else. I think the kid has talent. But his body language says a lot. He looks disinterested, moody. That doesn’t mean he’s unhappy and like I said it’s guess work but if you can’t crack a smile at this moment in time playing for Everton something isn’t right

Bit disappointed it hasn’t worked out but I have to trust the manager. If he goes I hope someone who can make more of an impact comes in to compete with DCL.

Worse striker in recent history that thought he was the next big thing , even Niasse did much better . he will be remembered for being taken off after just 18 minutes by Big Dunc , turning up late for training , sulking , that lousy banner and throwing parties with strippers while in lockdown ! Bye bye

Think we should sell if we can personally. If we can get almost what we paid back will be a success considering every time he has graced the pitch he hasnt shown anything.

Funds could be used to bring in someone that can add something to the squad

It would be a FFP win though, as the value of the asset is spread across the length of the contract.

So over a 5 year contract, he would depreciate at 5.5mil per year, meaning that his current asset price as per FFP is 22mil, therefore if we sell him for 25mil hen we have actually made a FFP profit of 3mil.

Couldn't disagree more personally. He's got bags of potential and talent. Will be fulfill it? Who knows?

I just haven't seen anything in all the games he's played that makes me think he can cut it, his movement and touch are poor and it's not like he's a deadly finisher. Might be proved wrong in a few years as it clearly seems like the people who know much more than I do rate him highly!

It's a €3m profit when it should be a €13m though.

With your rationality we should just keep him till next year and sell him then because his depreciation value will be €16.5m so we'll make €8.5m profit.

Which ever way you cut it we bought the lad for €27.5m and to sell him for anything less is ridiculous.

The lad is a full Italian international and was playing for them less then a month ago.

The debatable point is why should his value go up/be maintained? I like him and really hoped he would be a star, but he has literally done nothing. In fact, he has been shown up.

I would be really happy if we got the full total back. That to me would be a good outcome for all both financially, FFP and for the lad himself.
