2020/21 Moise Kean

Absolutely no idea what the issue is. Whether he’s homesick or just not suited to the English game, but as it stands, he offers nothing.

We need competition for every position. If we could recoup anything near what we paid, I’d snatch their hands off.

He's a signing I was very excited about and I was looking forward to seeing him grow here. Would like to see him hunker down and stay. If his pending departure were happening under Silva, Koeman, Fat Sam, etc., I would be upset.

But, one of Ancelotti's farts has more football knowledge than I'll ever have in my brain. So if he's not kicking up a fuss and trying to convince the player to stay, I'll trust the guy who has been working serious magic this season.

The debatable point is why should his value go up/be maintained? I like him and really hoped he would be a star, but he has literally done nothing. In fact, he has been shown up.

I would be really happy if we got the full total back. That to me would be a good outcome for all both financially, FFP and for the lad himself.

The lad hasn't torn up trees here but he has been adapting. He has scored 3 in 7 starts for everton, he's one of the top young strikers in the world, he's a full international, he'd be going back to a league he's already done well in previously and to a team that he and the team know well.

Just getting our money back on this kid isn't a option for me. We need to be making a decent profit.

Mostly guess work just like everyone else. I think the kid has talent. But his body language says a lot. He looks disinterested, moody. That doesn’t mean he’s unhappy and like I said it’s guess work but if you can’t crack a smile at this moment in time playing for Everton something isn’t right
Richarlison doesn't smile much.

How can we expect to make a profit on a player who has been so poor during his time with us? A small loss would be acceptable
He might improve quicker if gets more time on the field, he’s been getting fifteen minutes here and twenty minutes there if he’s lucky, think he got two minutes plus injury time the other week, it takes at least five minutes to settle down and get into the game, I think he’s better than he has been given time to show.

I do wonder what the reaction to Moise would be like if he was a white guy... Like, I have some misgivings about him, but then I wonder if they are my own racist tendencies...

Regardless I do think he looks a little lost at times, like he is rushing to take a first touch or concerned about making mistakes. Which I think comes from lack of confidence and genuine game time. Being hauled off by Dunc last season would have been awful for him.

Alls I know is that If I was a centre half and Moise was coming off the bench on 70 mins I wouldn't be too happy. Looked very fired up when he came off the bench in the derby last year and (if I remember rightly) flattened Virgin Van Dykes and proper put the wind up him for ten minutes.

Keep him, motivate him, could be a player
